About the recipe
Bean burger? Turkey burger? I couldn’t choose, so I made both in the same patty! The flavour of apples goes so well with the turkey and makes sure this burger is extra juicy!Jump to Recipe
The main ingredients for this recipe are:
- ground turkey
- white beans
Plus, a few other ingredients such as:
- green onions
And all your favourite toppings! For this burger, mine are:
- barbecue sauce
- havarti cheese
- caramelized onions
The first step to making these burgers are to mash the beans. I used a potato masher, but you could use a fork, an immersion blender, or even your hands! Then, you add all the ingredients for the burgers and you mix them with your hands. Afterwards, they need to rest for about 30 minutes in the fridge before getting shaped in 4 patties.
To cook them, you can do it on the grill or in a non-stick pan on the stove. I cooked mine on medium heat, for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden.
Then, it’s time to assemble your burger with your favourite garnishes!Jump to Recipe
